An Opportunity to Seize

It has been a testing year for many companies across the World with the restrictions that COVID-19 has forced upon us all, and The Accessible Guide is no different. We were due to launch our new platform during the summer of 2020, once the initial restrictions were imposed across England in March, it was clear to us at that time that it would be increasingly difficult for us to meet our initial target and with this in mind we set a target date of October 2020. Unfortunately, this hasn't been feasible either due to the tier 3 restrictions being imposed on the Liverpool City Region. The launch of The Accessible Guide has now been delayed until 2021, and at this point, we are unable to provide any more specific dates.

In adversity though lies opportunity. We have taken the time to assess our situation and we will be using the time constructively to identify more businesses that we can showcase on our platform and we will now include businesses across the Liverpool City Region, which includes Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens and Wirral, we will also include businesses in Chester and Cheshire too.

We will also be identifying opportunities to interview various companies and organisations across these areas that provide activities for disabled people.

The Accessible Guide has been designed by disabled people to create opportunities for inclusion and we will showcase businesses and their access provisions that will enable users to easily search for venues and services that meet their individual access requirements.

If you would like any further information about The Accessible Guide then please don't hesitate to contact us, alternatively, you can also sign up to our updates via our home page.

For now though, we hope everyone is safe and well and we look forward to providing further updates, of our launch, in the coming months.
