A Thank You to TNL Community Fund

As a Community Interest Company our objectives are clear. We want to use digital technology innovatively to create opportunities for inclusion. The Accessible Guide was founded and is managed by disabled people and our website will showcase businesses and their access provisions.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting our project and providing the funding that enabled us to appoint Cyberfrog Design as our official I.T partner, a move that will ensure we deliver a functional, dynamic, and user-friendly platform. The support we received has also enabled us to work with local educational establishments, and recruit students to help us build the content for our platform.

The Accessible Guide will enable users to search and find goods and services that meet their individual access requirements. As we begin the process of uploading content to our platform, after our launch we will update our The Accessible Guide regularly with new and relevant content that will help us support disabled people. Our ambition is to be one of the ‘go to’ websites for disabled people to find inclusive and accessible establishments, services, and information.

The support and funding from TNL Community Fund has been a gamechanger for our Company and will ensure we are able to create a genuinely useful resource for disabled people, and one that is scalable for growth and expansion. What started as an idea, will soon become reality. For this, we will always be grateful to the TNL Community Fund.
