The Accessible Guide C.I.C was founded by disabled people in December 2016. The main purpose of our Company is to use digital technology to innovatly create opportunities for inclusion. Several of our founding members have experience of travelling across Europe and the United States and it is their experiences that act as a driving force behind the development of our platform.  Our new platform will showcase businesses and their access provisions, which will enable users to find goods and services that meet their individual access requirements.

The development of our platform is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, and we appointed Cyberfrog Design as our I.T partners, which will enable us to launch a visually stunning, dynamic, user-friendly and purposeful website that will create opportunities for inclusion.

As a Community Interest Company, we also create social and leisure opportunities for disabled people through our Phab Liverpool projects. Phab Liverpool was founded in 2008, by the same founding members of the Company and is affiliated to Phab Limited, which sees our projects form a network of more than 120 Phab Clubs across England and Wales.  Our Phab Liverpool projects operate as part of The Accessible Guide C.I.C and have provided more than 600 project sessions and had more that 13,000 visitors since they opened in 2008.
